Friday 4/16 Bogalusa, LA- Wiggins, MS 60 miles
Started out with sad news today that Patti’s mother had died early this morning in Wisconsin. Her mom was 92 and suffered from dementia, but such hard news to get when you are so far away. She took the day to make plans and get a flight home. Carol drove her to NOLA airport. She hopes to be back with us on Tuesday.
Crossed into Mississippi today with another great map from the Daleiden map elves. We could not figure out what BTDT meant but Mr. Text King JP Fouse enlightened me. And yet another day of lovely country roads and not much traffic. This gospel radio station sign reminded me of Brother Where Art Thou. That mentally tired aura that has overtaken us seems to be making my blogs shorter and shorter. Any of you readers out there have any questions I can answer or curious about details I haven't covered? For instance who is Mr. Cool Car Man? His name is Pierre!
So, KK, what does BTDT mean? Neil and I don't have that mentally tired aura and we still can't figure it out. We can't begin to imagine how tired you must be and yet you still manage to write your blog faithfully. Thank you. So sorry to hear about Patti's mom.
